We have 20 rooms booked at group rate and after that we can block more rooms til June 30/10. You have 48 hrs. to cancel prior to July 30 at no charge. We have arranged to local photographer Melanie Steeves to be on site at Travelodge to photograph your car and then afix photo to T-shirts ($20.00), key chains ($10.00), mouse pad ($15.00) and tote bag ($17.00). Saturday night we have planned a Sunset Dinner Cruise (3 ½ hrs) on Grand River near Caledonia. Each boat holds 60. Menu is 3-course Roast Beef Dinner with salad, home baked bread, dessert and tea/coffee. Cash bar available. The first 60 paid will be on 1st boat. I must prepay 10 days ahead of event. The cost of $40.00 includes taxes and tip. We will have a Silent Auction going all weekend so if you can provide an item we would appreciate it very much. Proceeds will pay for incidental costs that we incur. We will join in on Sunday's local Friendship Festival Car Show which is very well attended. They also offer a huge local craft show and food booths as well. The Show runs 8 am - 4 pm and the cost is $15.00. (I am going to ask for a group rate). |

After a much, much longer outage than expected, the Canadianclassicchevy.com site is back online. I won't bore you with the technical details but suffice to say, getting the site operational took a little bit of work and I'm thankful that it is now live again. In early 2010, I will be putting a new site together with more community-driven features that will allow you (our members!) to contribute to the content and make the site a more interactive place to visit. In the interim, if you have any suggestions or would like to help out, please let me know. |

This year we're in Woodstock, a return from about 10 years ago when the show was here in the late 1990's. We've had great weather on Friday and we're promised even better today for our big cruise. Last night we went to Coast to Coast mini golf and everyone had a blast. More to come as the event progresses.
